What these terms cover, and what they do not
avatise.ai is a pre-launch website. By using it or submitting the access request form, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.
These terms do not contain the licensing agreement. The agreement that governs an actual AI likeness licence between talent and a company is a separate document drafted by entertainment-law counsel. It will be given to you in full, to read, before anyone signs anything. Nothing on this page previews, replaces or summarises it.

Using the site
Give us accurate information, and submit only on your own behalf or with the authority to act for the person or company you name. You agree not to:
- scrape, crawl or submit the form by automated means;
- submit anyone else’s personal details without their permission;
- probe, scan, overload or otherwise interfere with the site or its security controls;
- misrepresent who you are or who you represent;
- use the site for anything unlawful.
We can refuse, remove or ignore any submission, and we do not have to say why.
What submitting a request does not do
Submitting an access request, and any conversation that follows it, creates no licence, no consent to any use of your likeness, no transfer of ownership, no right to train a model on anything about you, no exclusivity, and no obligation of any kind on either side. You give up nothing by applying. Nothing changes until you have read a licensing agreement and signed it.
Founding cohort statements
What this site or our email says about the founding cohort is information, not an offer. Any benefit becomes binding only when it is written into an agreement you accept, and only as it is written there at that time. We may change or withdraw the cohort programme before acceptance.
Talent set their own commercial terms on their own listing: price, permitted uses, territory, term and revocation. The contract itself is drafted by entertainment-law counsel.
Pre-launch service, no warranties
The site and everything on it are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Features shown may be demonstration material, may change, or may never ship. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error free.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Avatise and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, business or goodwill, arising out of or connected with your use of this site, on any theory of liability, even if we were told such damages were possible. Our total liability for all claims relating to the site is limited to one hundred US dollars (USD 100). Some jurisdictions do not allow some of these exclusions, so they apply only as far as the law allows.
Intellectual property
The Avatise name, logo, site design and copy belong to us. Do not copy or reuse them without written permission. What you submit stays yours. You give us permission to use it only to process and respond to your request, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Termination
We can suspend or end your access to the site, to an account, or to the cohort process at any time, with or without notice. You can stop using the site at any time, and you can ask us to delete what we hold. The sections on liability, intellectual property and governing law survive.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Washington State, and you agree to their jurisdiction.
Changes
We may revise these terms by posting an updated version here with a new effective date. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the revision.
